Implementation ICARE model with multi representation to improve ability of understanding concept in Madrasah Aliyah student 1Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Purwakarta, Jl. Veteran No 299 Purwakarta 41115, Jawa Barat, Indonesia Abstract Abstract. The ability to understanding the concept is the ability of students to construct the meaning of the message conveyed. But in fact, there are still many students who can not understand the concept well. This study aims to get an overview of the implementation ICARE model with multi representation to improve ability of understand concept of elasticity. Research method used is quasy experiment. Subjects in this research were class XI MIA in one of Madrasah Aliyah at Purwakarta, Indonesia. The research instrument used is the ability to understand the concept of elasticity test. Analysis of the research data using t test, <g> and different power test. The result shows that there is an increase in the ability to understanding the concept of elasticity with <g> of 0.51 is in the medium category. The conclusion is ICARE model with multi representation can improve ability to understand concept of elasticity in Madrasah Aliyah student.
