The ability of mathematical connections students reviewed from mathematical resilience

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical connections of students in solving problems in terms of student mathematical resilience. The research method used is descriptive with the form of research used is the case study. The sample of this research is 30 students of class XI SMA in Surakarta. The results of data analysis indicate that students mathematical connection ability is in accordance with the level of mathematical resilience. For students residing in high mathematics resilience group, students connection ability is high (83%), students in medium resilience group, students connection ability is moderate (70%), and students in low mathematics resilience group, students connection ability is very low (31%).
