Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the environmental observing and predicting student skill of class X SMKS AR-RUSLAN by using Problem Posing model on the concept of environmental pollution. The research method used in this research is correlation method. In this study the data taken is the skill of environmental observing and predicting that is qualitative so that the data collection using the instrument in the form of observation sheet that has been through the validity and reliability test. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a relationship between student skill in environmental observing and predicting using problem posing model on the concept of environmental pollution on SMKS AR RUSLAN with a significant correlation value of 0.897, a positive correlation that if the environmental observing skill is high then the environmental predicting skill is also high and if the environmental observing skill is low then environmental predicting skill is also low. This research is important to develop student skill and increase the sensitivity to the environmental problem.
